It's November and that means NanoWrimo, or national novel month is upon us. The goal is to spend the entire month writing and get 50k words on the page. Lofty goals that I've managed to meet a few times.
Not this year though...it's a bitter pill to swallow but honestly the right choice. I have other projects I need to get completed. Other goals to be met before the end of 2018. It seems early in the month to throw in the towel but I've decided to five myself a break.
It's so easy to find fault with our writing, or any other creative endeavor. Instead of succumbing to it, embrace what you've accomplished. And put more words on the page...or delete them, if you're in the middle of editing.
